This handbook gives academic laboratory course students firsthand experience with the main procedures in forensic anthropology. The Manual, which is meant to go along with the forensic anthropology textbook introduction, covers fundamental protocols and processes along with exercise worksheets that help students better understand the techniques and strengthen their understanding. The Manual has been revised in accordance with the textbook for the fourth edition, adding new techniques, graphics, and worksheets. The language, measurements, and osteological characteristics required to comprehend each topic are explained in each chapter. Instructors can customize each lab to fit their available resources by including lists of both required and optional lab materials in each chapter, which can be covered in one or more sessions.
