This is a magnificent visual tour of the archives of the Glasgow School of Art's textile collection. The textiles showcase large gifts from various collections in addition to the work of GSA teachers and students. The outcome is a diverse collection of artwork that includes pieces from the 17th century's stumpwork to the 1930s pieces created by Austrian artist Emmy Zweybruck, pieces from students of the 1990s, pieces from Donalds of Dundee's jacquard woven samples to the 1930s modernist work. Overall, this is a significant textile collection, and the first book serves as a crucial documentation of it.
